To provide our core service, we collect a minimal amount of data:
- Uploaded Content: When you upload a screenshot or recording, we store the data on secure servers.
- Metadata: Basic info like dimensions, file size, and upload time.
- Usage Data: We use an anonymous API key stored in your browser to manage your gallery.
3. What We Don't Collect
We intentionally do not collect:
- Personally Identifiable Information (unless you create an account).
- IP addresses of casual uploaders.
- Third-party advertising trackers.
4. Data Retention
Snips are stored for a default of 4 months. You can choose a shorter expiration period when you upload. Once deleted, data is permanently removed.
5. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and secure servers. All snips are accessed via unique, high-entropy URLs that are virtually impossible to guess.
